Requirements
You are required to bring the vehicle to us in order for this tune to commence.
Custom Tuning is required for those who have more than standard bolt on upgrades such as turbo upgrade, injector upgrade, etc.
if you are running basic bolt on upgrades, consider using the canned tune option to send in your ECU as custom tuning is not a requirement for basic modifications.
This Tune is designed to push the car. We can either street tune or dyno tune your vehicle. Street Tune means you will be driving while logging and flashing is done from the passenger side. Dyno tune means we will strap your vehicle to a Dyno and tune, this will incur dyno fees to the dyno shop we rent the dyno from.
Custom tune is the best way to get the most amount of power safely. There are multiple options and stages to the tune from 100% stock to turbo upgrades and e85 options.
The car will at basic require colder plugs gapped at 0.028 and depending on your setup will require you to run bigger injectors or even a upgraded fuel system. If you are unsure of your setup, please contact us beforehand to make sure you are completely ready before making the purchase.
*DYNO FEE IS NOT INCLULDED IN THIS PRICING
(this price varies depending on the shop we rent the dyno from and we are not responsible for price changes)
**if your car is not mechanically ready or solid for the tuning it is not our responsibility to perform the repairs and you will forfeit $100 of your total for the time spent on the vehicle regardless of the tuning being completed
How this works
After making the purchase, you need to email us at Support@bloodtyperacing.com and schedule a session. We will cross check with Alphaspeed to make sure your time slot is available and book you for your time. $100 of the payment is non-refundable if you miss your appointment.
However, we do allow one time rescheduling without penalties. Please keep in mind everyone's time is just as valuable as yours and make sure you make it out to the appointments on time
Pops and Bangs / Flames
There is no guarantee on pops and bangs. We cannot control the quantity, volume or duration of the pops and bangs. Every car is different and you might get more pops, you might get less.
No refunds if you don’t like the pops/bangs after tuning.
We do not guarantee you’ll shoot flames and we do not offer flame maps. Please don’t ask.
Refund Policy
No refunds on customs tunes for any reason once the vehicle has been flashed. Also the first $100 is non refundable once your appointment has been made. You may request a refund at any time before that.
Disclaimer & Risks
Tuning your ECU requires specialty equipment and processes that may results in a bricked ECU. We do take every precaution necessary to try and prevent this, but the risks are still there. In the event of a bricked ECU, you may need to purchase a replacement ECU or send your ECU off to get repaired which will incur additional time and cost.
Changing your factory tuning parameters can be dangerous and can result in damage to the engine and/or other parts of your drive train. We work with experienced tuners to avoid these types of problems, but there is still the risk of engine damage caused by improper installation of parts, incorrect information provided to the tuner about your mods and changing your mods after the tuning process. If you plan to make changes after your tune, let us know BEFORE you get tuned!
Changing your factory tuning parameters can result in your warranty being voided by the dealer and/or 3rd party insurers. We keep your original factory tune on file in the event you need to reflash back to stock, but this will incur an additional shipping and flash fee.
Waiver
By placing your order, you are acknowledging that you accept all risks and agree that neither Blood Type Racing Inc, nor the tuner are liable or responsible for any damage for failures that may results from the tuning process, or the tune itself. This includes, but is not limited to, engine damage, bricked ECUs and any additional costs involved in the process (e.g. new ECUs or ECU repair, replacement of damaged parts, loss of warranty).
