Requirements

This Tune is designed for OEM Turbo and OEM Injectors.

This tune is for those looking to wake up the extra power from their cars without pushing the limits and stay conservative and safe within the parameters set by the tuner.  We highly recommend running colder spark plugs gapped at 0.028 and they can be ordered right from the drop down menus above. This tune will work with cars that are 100% stock to those who are full bolt ons.

For Fuel Octane, Choose the octane that is available in your area. As a rule of thumb you can always pump higher octane than what your ECU is tuned for but cannot pump anything lower. So if you are tuned for 91, you can pump 93 without any problems but if you are tuned for 93, you cannot pump 91 in your car.  With the 91 + Methanol or the 93 + Methanol settings you need to be running a 50:50 mix of Water Methanol and the setting recommended is start spray 10 psi and full spray by 15 psi.  Always make sure you are using the correct mixture. we highly recommend buying the premix (Here)

How this works

After making the purchase, you must print out your invoice, remove your OEM ecu from the car (Cannot be a used ecu from another vehicle, it MUST be your own OEM ecu that works in the car)

Package the ECU nicely in a box with proper packing material (remember ECU's are computers and they will get damaged during shipping if its not packaged properly) Make sure to put the printed invoice inside the box that way we know what order the ECU is for! then ship it to us at our address HERE

Cloned ECU option is for those looking to keep their OEM ecus unmodified.  You will have to still send in your OEM ecu but we take your ECU and clone it onto a different ECU and tune.  Then we ship back 2 ECU to you, one would be your OEM and the other would be the cloned version that has been tuned.  This is a recommended option for those looking to keep OEM ECU's for dealer ECU updates and also as a back up ECU.

Pops and Bangs / Flames

There is no guarantee on pops and bangs. We cannot control the quantity, volume or duration of the pops and bangs. Every car is different and you might get more pops, you might get less.

No refunds if you don’t like the pops/bangs after tuning.

We do not guarantee you’ll shoot flames and we do not offer flame maps.

Refund Policy

No refunds on tunes for any reason once you have been sent a tuned ECU. You may request a refund at any time before that. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Disclaimer & Risks

Tuning your ECU requires specialty equipment and processes that may results in a bricked ECU. We do take every precaution necessary to try and prevent this, but the risks are still there. In the event of a bricked ECU, you may need to purchase a replacement ECU or send your ECU off to get repaired which will incur additional time and cost.

Changing your factory tuning parameters can be dangerous and can result in damage to the engine and/or other parts of your drive train. We work with experienced tuners to avoid these types of problems, but there is still the risk of engine damage caused by improper installation of parts, incorrect information provided to the tuner about your mods and changing your mods after the tuning process. If you plan to make changes after your tune, let us know BEFORE you get tuned!

Changing your factory tuning parameters can result in your warranty being voided by the dealer and/or 3rd party insurers. We keep your original factory tune on file in the event you need to reflash back to stock, but this will incur an additional shipping and flash fee.

Waiver

By placing your order, you are  acknowledging that you accept all risks and agree that neither Blood Type Racing Inc, nor the tuner are liable or responsible for any damage for failures that may results from the tuning process, or the tune itself. This includes, but is not limited to, engine damage, bricked ECUs and any additional costs involved in the process (e.g. new ECUs or ECU repair, replacement of damaged parts, loss of warranty).
