This kit is designed to work with 2010-2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Models. (works with Automatic and Manual Transmission)
It utilizes the OEM location to work with existing modifications the customer may have such as Exhaust, intercooler and intake systems.
The Turbo Kit uses OEM 2010-12 Genesis Coupe Primary Catalytic Converter. So if you have a 2010-12 you do not need to purchase the Magnaflow Catalytic Converter, but for 2013-14 owners, this is an option you should consider if you are trying to stay SMOG / Emissions legal. The kit will also work with aftermarket 2010-12 o2 housings but that would cause a Check Engine Light and will not pass SMOG / Emissions testing.
Due to the turbo having a larger inlet diameter (3 inch) than the oem turbo, customer will have to order their own coupler to mate up with the type of intake they have. (please take measurements of your intake piping and order what is needed by visiting our fabrication parts - silicone coupler page HERE
Oem turbo oil return fitting and hose are reused but they may need to be bent slight to fit during installation due to the oem engine mount being slightly in the way. (Explained in the DIY video below)
We also offer a Canned Tune Service for the Kit for the BK2 (2013-14) Models for this turbo kit for those who do not live close to a Alphaspeed dealer for a custom tune.
This kit with the BTR-3076BB can push 380-390 whp on the Manual cars and around 330-340whp on the Automatic cars with proper tuning and oem fuel system on bk2 models, bk1 models require fuel injector upgrades. (DW750cc is recommended for the BK1 which can be found HERE (the horsepower figures are using the internal wastegate option, external wastegate option will bump the powers up even more and will require BK2 to upgrade injectors as well)
The BTR Manifold included in the kit has the ability to run an external wastegate setup (Tial MV-S). you will have to disable the internal wastegate when adding the external wastegate setup either by welding the flapper shut, or using a internal wastegate delete which can be found HERE
