2017 BTR Edition Elantra Sport (SEMA project)

2017 SEMA show, we are back again working with Hyundai Motors America. 

This year they wanted us to put our efforts into their new 2017 Elantra Sport. This shared a updated Gamma 1.6 Turbo Engine from the previous Veloster Turbo we had built for Hyundai.  This time around we wanted to take a different approach to the build and make this more of a weekend warrior type of build instead of a full blown track monster the previous build was.

As the vehicle was brand new to market, we had to work directly with some Korean manufactures and also figure out many different ways to apply parts to a car which there were no parts available for. We had brought in a custom big brake kit from Fella Brakes from Korea. Also worked with Pierce Motorsport for a custom exhaust and chassis bracing as well as SSR wheels again for a custom set of 19" GTX01 wheels.  HSD suspensions supplied us with coilovers and Aerotekk developed the Splitter Kit for the Elantra Sport using our vehicle.

The interior of the vehicle was restitched using orange stitching to match the outside's Lamborghini Orange Paint. Also used Aerotekk's fenders flares to fit the wider wheels and tires along with APR GTC-200 rear wing to finish off the aggressive appearance.

The car was yet another hit at the Hyundai Booth in the 2017 SEMA show. The build showed off the daily drivability alongside weekend warrior sporty vehicle concept to a perfection

The front end saw an upgrade after the SEMA show with the Sequence front bumper canard setup. 

The vehicle was also shown at the Hyundai Booth in the 2018 Chicago Autoshow as well.
